- Professional readiness training before funding arrives

Professional certification and organizational readiness assessment.
NRI combines individual professional certification with a separate organizational readiness assessment. Participants build and demonstrate readiness knowledge through the required course, Participant Workbook, and Certification Exam. Organizations separately evaluate their operational systems through the Organizational Readiness Scorecard.
Readiness Training
Required professional training covering grant management, governance, compliance, reporting requirements, financial accountability, internal controls, and documentation practices.
NRI Professional Certification
An individual participant completes the required course and Participant Workbook and takes the 50-question Certification Exam. A minimum score of 80% is required to earn NRI Professional Certification.
Funder Partnerships
Custom cohort programs through which funders may sponsor NRI Professional Certification for nonprofit professionals and support participating organizations through the separate Organizational Readiness Scorecard process.
Participant Workbooks
A required part of the professional certification process that helps participants apply readiness concepts to grant, compliance, governance, financial management, and reporting responsibilities.
Technical Assistance
Customized support in governance, compliance, financial management, reporting systems, internal controls, and organizational capacity development.
Organizational Readiness Assessment
After the required participant earns NRI Professional Certification, the organization's Organizational Readiness Scorecard is unlocked. The organization completes the Scorecard, and NRI calculates its NRI Readiness Score and provides a Readiness Report and Improvement Plan.
